This working session will be a deep dive into how core values, vision, and mission are communicated throughout the organization. The character education team should bring or gain access to as many of the following documents as possible:
● Mission and Vision Statements:
● School Handbooks: Including student, faculty/staff, parent, and substitute teacher handbooks.
● Staff Training Materials:
● Website Content: About Us pages and other relevant sections.
● Parent Communication: Newsletters, emails, and other communications.
● Sports Programs: Team handbooks, schedules, and promotional materials.
● After-School Activities: Materials related to clubs and programs.
● PR Materials: Brochures, pamphlets, and advertisements.
● Community Partnerships: Documents related to external collaborations.
● Performance Evaluations: Forms and processes for staff and administrators.
● Board of Education Meeting Minutes: Discussions and decisions on core values.
● Strategic Plans
● Curriculum Guides
● Policy Documents: School policies and procedures manuals.
● Student Publications: Newspapers, yearbooks, and other publications.
● Alumni Materials: Newsletters and event invitations.
